To change out the battery simply remove cap, hold trimmer body with one hand and pinch the trimmer head with your index finger and thumb with the other hand then gently pull up on the trimmer head. This will give you access to the battery tray. Replace bad battery and simply slide trimmer back into the metal sleeve. To remove the trimmer head pinch the head between your index finger and thumb then turn counterclockwise a quarter turn and lift away from the trimmer body. To replace the head, align the notches on the head with the channel on the trimmer body, press down and turn a quarter turn clockwise until it locks into place. 11-12-2024My old one finally died when I accidently dropped it in the toilet. I was still running! But came apart after hitting the bowl.This one is the same make. It has a much higher RPM's. Works great.(There was only water in toilet.)

11-12-2024I purchased this trimmer to replace a similar Wahl plastic trimmer that broke.It was slightly more expensive than the all plastic one but the price was not prohibitive.The unit is small, easy to use and gets the job done.

11-12-2024I don't like that this is the best groomer on the market. I have purchased 5 in the last 8 years.Why don't I like that fact? Because they eventually break. The motor just stops working. Usually after a year or two of use. I have tried drying the device after use in the shower, I have always kept them in a secure drawer, but they always end up dying after a year.And for the price, well, so be it. I just buy another one. (Some of these come with a ten year warranty, but they require you to pay shipping on the dead unit, which is silly. Easier to just buy a new one, and I think they know that.)It wouldn't be so aggravating if these trimmers were bad at trimming body hair. But they're OUTSTANDING in that regard. No other kit even comes close. I use it on my ears, nose, and eyebrows. The blades are perfectly designed, and do a fantastic job. Battery life is long, too - most of mine only require a single battery change before the unit motor just stops working in a year and a half.So yeah, this is the best. I just wish they lasted a lot longer.
